Even though I could not apply for my visa yet, I got my host family a few days ago. I come to a married couple who have already retired. They have a very nice house with a pool or a pond in the garden in a suburb of Cairns. There is also another international student in the family, a 17 year old Italian. He goes to 11th grade at Cairns State High School and is in Australia for 6 months. In addition, I have chosen the subjects for the next period. I’m really looking forward to the subjects Film and New Media and Design and Technologies. Now I hope that the information for my visa will arrive soon and I can request it.
